Tackling the Real-World Challenges of PE Film Recycling:

Post-consumer PE soft materials—such as agricultural greenhouse films, industrial stretch wraps, and commercial packaging bags—present severe processing hurdles. Due to their high surface area, these materials often carry heavy loads of abrasive sand, soil, organic residue, and sticky label adhesives.

To overcome these factors without sacrificing throughput, BEIER’s engineering team designed a closed-loop, highly automated washing line capable of processing 1000 kilograms per hour of highly contaminated input while maintaining an ultra-pure final yield.

Advanced Technical Systems Integrated into the Line:

• Anti-Winding Wet Crusher: Features a specialized knife geometry designed explicitly for soft materials. By injecting water directly into the crushing chamber, the system cools the blades, reduces dust, and flushes away large debris instantly while preventing films from wrapping around the rotor shaft.

• High-Speed Centrifugal Friction Washer: Rotates at extreme speeds to mechanically “scrub” the film surfaces. This process releases embedded dirt, sand, and organic residues that traditional soaking tanks fail to dislodge.
• Heavy-Duty Separation Sink-Float Tanks: Utilizing precise fluid dynamics, the system separates floating PE flakes from heavy contaminants (such as PET, PVC, and metals) with an efficiency rating of over 99%.

• Advanced Mechanical Squeezing Dryer: Instead of relying entirely on energy-intensive thermal pipes, the line integrates an advanced mechanical squeezer. It compresses the fluffy film to “wring out” moisture like a sponge, lowering the final moisture content to under 3% while substantially reducing overall energy consumption.
