Plastic flake pelletizing line is an industrial system designed to convert plastic flakes—often recycled materials—into uniform pellets. These pellets are used as raw material in manufacturing processes like injection molding, blow molding, or 3D printing.

Plastic Flake Pelletizing Line Components:

1. Feeding System: Plastic flakes are fed into the line, typically via hoppers or conveyors. Pre-drying may occur if moisture is present.

2. Extruder: Flakes are melted in a screw extruder, which applies heat and pressure. Temperature control is critical to avoid degradation.

3. Filtration: A screen changer filters impurities (e.g., dirt, unmelted particles) to ensure pellet purity.

4. Plastic flake pelletizer: Strands are cut into uniform pellets using rotary blades (strand pelletizing) or water ring cutting systems.

5. Drying & Post-Processing: Centrifugal dryers remove moisture from water-cooled pellets. Sieving or vibrating screens separate oversized/undersized pellets for quality control.

6. Collection: Plastic pellets are stored in bags, silos, or containers for transport or further use.
