Rigid PE PP Recycling Machine Description:

The most common applications of PE PP bottles are milk and food containers, detergent bottles, body care as shampoo bottles, and motor oil bottles.  In this section, Beier Machinery can process plastic recyclable products like plastic post consumered containers, pipes, other blow molding applications.

Beier machinery’s rigid PE PP recycling line is consisting in sorting prewashing, wet grinding, hot washing, separation, centrifugation and drying. Then it can be conveied to Beier Machinery pelletizing system for further recycling process.

Beier Machinery provides rigid PE PP recycling machine can assure a precise and efficient decontamination of the rigid plastic with both cold and hot washing systems, adopting the most efficient recycling technologies.

Rigid PE PP recycling line can properly treat any contaminated rigid plastic and bring the final output washed flakes back to be reused (alone or blended with other materials).

The shredded material then enters a washing and cleaning stage. A pre-wash with cold water removes loose dirt and debris, followed by a hot wash with detergents to dissolve adhesives, oils, or food residues. A friction washer mechanically scrubs the flakes to dislodge stubborn contaminants, after which rinsing with fresh water eliminates detergent residues. A density-based separation step (float-sink tank) uses a calcium chloride solution to distinguish PE from PP.

After washing, the flakes are dried using a centrifugal dryer to remove 90–95% of moisture via high-speed spinning, followed by a thermal dryer (heated airflow or rotary oven) to achieve residual moisture levels below 1%. Advanced sorting ensures final purity: optical sorters remove any remaining contaminants by color or polymer type, and metal detectors verify no residual metals are present.
